Food Wine and Fete - Miami, FL

Miami’s premier all-inclusive Caribbean Culinary & Soca Fete Experience did not disappoint for its fourth year on May 16.

​

The hosts, Vanessa James and Marcos Rodriguez brought world-class chefs, artists, and tourism partners together at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park for food tastings, vibes and bacchanal.

​

Moko Jumbies greeted guests at a grand Caribbean archway. A rhythm section set the pulse. Visors, fans, and chalice-style drinks cup from Antigua & Barbuda  placed in patron's hands.

 

The islands arrived in a big way in South Florida.

Haitian Flag Day
Brooklyn, NY

NYC Haitian Flag Festival on Sunday May 18 was presented by Sak Pase Nation. The major annual outdoor street festival shut down Nostrand Avenue in Little Haiti, 

Brooklyn.

 

The 39th annual event featured live musical performances, traditional Haitian cuisine, and community vendors. Elected officials Mercedes Narcisse and Farah Louis were present to address patrons and honor recipients with citations.

 

The lineup of performers included Trinidadian soca icon Denise Belfon, and a host of Haitian rappers and singers. Designers presented their fashions via intermittent runway shows throughout the afternoon.

Wide Open 
Concert, Grenada

Wide Open Concert 2026 on April 14, 2026, brought together an incredible international and regional lineup, uniting sounds from Grenada, Trinidad, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique on one powerful stage.

 

The concert featured performances by Sabrina Francis, Trinidad-based band Freetown Collective, renowned Zimbabwean guitarist Frank Mavhimira, and Mozambican percussionist Mathcume Zango, along with special surprise local guest performers.

Known for her bold artistry and genre-defying sound, Francis delivered an unforgettable night of music, rhythm, and cultural exchange that celebrated Caribbean creativity and global connection.

Mefeater Galentine's NYFW, New York

Mefeater Galentine's NYFW on February 13, 2026,  was a vibrant Caribbean fashion showcase celebrating culture, creativity, sisterhood, and style during New York Fashion Week.

 

The event brought together emerging and established Caribbean designers, tastemakers, influencers, and fashion enthusiasts for an unforgettable evening of bold runway presentations, island-inspired glamour, and elevated networking.

Mefeater Galentine’s headed by Jamaican-American Gabrielle Amani created a dynamic platform highlighting diverse voices in fashion, beauty, music, and culture. Macka Diamond came with a standout performance!

​

The showcase served as both a fashion-forward experience and a cultural moment, honoring the influence of Caribbean excellence on global style while spotlighting the next generation of creative talent.

Lobster & Lambie Festival Grenada

Grenada's inaugural Lobster & Lambie Festival took place from January 16–18, 2026. The three-day inaugural event was hosted by the Grenada Tourism Authority across the country’s Sister Isles, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

​

The festivities were spread across multiple venues, beginning with the opening ceremony at the Windward Fish Market and featuring events at Paradise Beach.

​

The festival is designed to celebrate the deep-rooted fishing and culinary traditions of the islands, the festival spotlighted locals preparing cracked lambie, grilled lobster, and other fresh seafood delicacies.
