Where will Carnival find you this summer?

Will you be jumping through the streets of Castries as Saint Lucia closes another unforgettable season?

Waving a flag at Grand Kadooment in Barbados? Experiencing the energy of Antigua Carnival?

Covered in oil and celebrating Jab Jab at Grenada’s Spicemas?

Or perhaps dancing through the streets of Toronto or London’s Notting Hill with thousands of revelers proudly celebrating Caribbean culture.

Wherever you are, one thing is certain: Carnival season has arrived.

Every July and August, the Caribbean comes alive, not just across the islands, but the globe too. From the Eastern Caribbean to North America and Europe, millions of people gather to celebrate the music, traditions, artistry, and spirit that define Caribbean identity.

Your Carnival Calendar

🇱🇨 Saint Lucia Carnival

Saint Lucia’s Carnival reaches its spectacular finale on July 22, ending weeks of road marches, vibrant costumes, soca performances, and unforgettable celebrations. If you’re there for the final day, soak up every moment, the island knows how to end Carnival in style. This year we’ve peeped highlights from American singer Chloe Bailey.

🇧🇧 Barbados Crop Over

The celebration continues in Barbados, where the legendary Crop Over Festival runs through August 3. Originally marking the end of the sugar cane harvest, Crop Over has evolved into one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated festivals, culminating with the colorful Grand Kadooment parade.

🇦🇬 Antigua Carnival

Beginning July 25, Antigua Carnival once again transforms St. John’s into a celebration of music, pageantry, steelpan, calypso, and masquerade. Known as “The Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival,” it’s a highlight of the regional Carnival calendar.

🇬🇩 Grenada Spicemas

Running through August 11, Grenada’s Spicemas offers one of the Caribbean’s most distinctive Carnival experiences. From the legendary Jab Jab celebrations to Panorama and Monday Night Mas, Spicemas combines tradition, creativity, and unmatched energy.

Carnival Beyond the Caribbean

The Caribbean doesn’t stop at its shores.

In Toronto, the 59th Caribbean Carnival continues through August 2, drawing millions of visitors and generating more than half a billion dollars in economic activity each year. One of North America’s largest cultural festivals, it showcases the enormous influence of Caribbean music, food, fashion, and culture.

Later this summer, all eyes turn to London, where the iconic Notting Hill Carnival once again fills the streets with steelpan, soca, calypso, dazzling costumes, and Caribbean pride. What began as a celebration of Caribbean resilience has become Europe’s largest street festival and one of the world’s most recognizable cultural events.

A Celebration of Freedom & Resilience

Carnival is about far more than feathers, music, and costumes. It is a celebration of freedom, resilience, history, creativity, and community. It supports thousands of musicians, costume designers, artists, dancers, vendors, chefs, photographers, and entrepreneurs while generating significant economic benefits for destinations throughout the Caribbean and across the diaspora.

Every festival tells a story, and every masquerader becomes part of that story.

So...Where Will You Be?

Will you be waving your country’s flag on the road?

Discovering Carnival for the very first time?

Traveling home to celebrate with family and friends?

Or cheering from the sidelines as Caribbean culture takes center stage around the world?

However you celebrate, Carnival Season 2026 is proof that the Caribbean is more than a collection of islands. It is a global community connected by music, culture, tradition, and pride.

This summer, the world is playing mas.
