CURLFEST® 2026 Creates Space for Caribbean Women, Culture, and Community

CURLFEST® has evolved far beyond a beauty festival, it has become a cultural movement that celebrates Black identity, entrepreneurship, wellness, and community. Produced by the Curly Girl Collective, a 100% Black women-owned organization, the event stands as a testament to what can be achieved when women create opportunities on their own terms and build spaces designed to serve their communities.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, thousands will gather at Randall's Island in New York City for another highly anticipated edition of CURLFEST®. At its core, the festival remains dedicated to creating meaningful connections among women of color while highlighting the beauty, creativity, and resilience that define the natural hair movement. Its success was not fueled by corporate machinery or massive budgets, but by the community that has championed the event since its inception.

For Caribbean women in particular, CURLFEST® represents an important platform. New York City is home to one of the largest Caribbean populations outside the region itself, and the festival continues to provide visibility for Caribbean voices, entrepreneurs, and creatives who contribute significantly to Black culture and commerce. From beauty and wellness to financial empowerment, attendees have the opportunity to engage with Black-owned businesses, founders, educators, and industry leaders who are helping shape the future for the next generation.

This year's sponsors include Creme of Nature, Carol's Daughter, DevaCurl, Black Girl Vitamins, The Doux, DHair, Miss Jessie's, WBLS, Donna's Recipe, Mielle Organics, Uber Soca Cruise, Watch & Sea Beauty, and more.

Attendees will also receive official gift bags featuring products from The Doux, Miss Jessie's, Donna's Recipe, Mielle Organics, SheaMoisture, and Pardon My Fro.
